It is called the "Liverpool Care Pathway" and it is a disgrace. My good friend Jacobo Luis Fuchs Justice for Mr. Fuchs was rendered unconscious then denied liquids and nutrition - he died of starvation seven days later in Ottawa's Salvation Army nursing home in 2014. (I wonder who's 'salvation' the name refers to)
Mr Fuchs only wanted his pain to end. Only wanted quality palliative care. Instead they killed him. When did it become acceptable to treat us old folks like horses with broken legs - to be put out our misery with a bullet to the head.
