Punk rockers Frankie Whyte and Dead Idols

"Growing up, I had a band and we played everywhere we could - bars, backyards, basements, living rooms. It didn't really matter where, or if people wanted us there, because we wanted to be there. It didn't matter if anyone was listening either, because "we were f*cking good". When I graduated from highschool, my band broke up (my polite way of saying that I was fired) and I met Duncan Coutts from Our Lady Peace. I got a hold of his number, and asked him if I could play him a few demos. That phone call led to two years, hundreds of demos and two EP's later, both produced by Duncan. My new band and I were finally given the chance to write, record and develop our skills."... Frankie

Custom fashion for 'sitting'

I'm no fan of the fashion industry but I was impressed by IZ Adaptive. They make clothes specifically for adults in wheelchairs. Great idea. So if you know someone who is wheelchair-bound, pass on the URL for IZ's website

"IZ Adaptive is a line that promises style and comfort without compromise. Every piece in our growing collection is crafted from quality fabrics with superior workmanship – and best of all, it’s all thoughtfully designed for a seated frame and use of a wheelchair." says Izzy Camilleri, IZ's designer

Afro-American Circus rocks!

Cool!

I just discovered the UNIVERSOUL CIRCUS. A North American Circus of Black performers almost exclusively. Cirque du Soleil, here is were you can find some great talent! Check out UNIVERSOUL CIRCUS here

"The UniverSoul Circus is a single ring circus founded and run since 1994 by Cedric Walker. It currently contains 75 performers and 12 acts. The circus is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.

Recruiting, training and production began in 1993. The first performance took place in 1994 in the parking lot of Atlanta Fulton County Stadium. The first season of operations brought formidable debt upon the organization. By 1997 the circus tour grew to 10 cities, 19 cities in 1999, 31 cities in 2000, and 32 cities in 2005. A tour of South Africa, the first international destination, was completed in 2001."

Fluevog shoes rock!

My new shoes - in front of the store - Distillery District - Toronto

"Always hold on to the truth. Don't let others sway your heart. Don't compromise yourself for the sake of temporal groovyness. Be separate from the crowd that's awash with normality by standing on a firm foundation. Never waver in your love or faith, and in all you do, please wear my shoes."

... John Fluevog, owner, designer, and genius (in my opinion)

And thanks to Fluevog sales people, Josh and Andrew for the great service.

Peace,

James

Virgin Mobile ROCKS!

A big thanks to Virgin Mobile!

They knocked about $100 off my bill after I explained that I accidentally bought the wrong US Roaming package just before what turned out to be my disastrous, six hour long vacation in Los Angeles last month.

Great public relations Virgin! (and I'm very happy with your service too since I switched last November).

Peace,

James
