What do you think of the new trailer for HAPPY FATHER'S DAY?

We just completed a new edit of the trailer for our low budget drama HAPPY FATHER'S DAY. What do you think?

I'm off to France and London next week for meetings in the hope of making HFD a Canada/UK/France co-pro.

We have a soft commitment of $658 from the Canadian government - just need another $1.9 million.

We're forming a new motion picture studio

Great meeting (our first) with l-r, me, Javid, Brinda, and Gunny - all seasoned producers. Looks as if we will be forming a motion picture studio to produce the seven feature films we have in various stages of development, funding and completion.

I'm going to Santa Monica's American Film Market!

Just booked my plane ticket to November's American Film Market. Hoping to interest a film hashtagagent in my indie hashtagdrama HAPPY FATHER'S DAY.

We have our star, director, cinematographer, stunt co-ordinator and funding from Alberta, Ontario and our production partner in Greece but we're still $1.4m (Canadian) short of our $2.6 budget.

We begin shooting in February 2019.

My 26th screenplay

I've devoted so much time and energy over the past two years to producing my first feature film HAPPY FATHER'S DAY that it occurred to me that I haven't written a screenplay in years... so!... this morning I began my 26th screenplay, the socio-political comedy EXODUS...

"Two Los Angeles black women, a surgeon and a Starbuck's barista, form the Democratic Republic of California and separate from America."

Our HAPPY FATHER'S DAY movie now has a great Director and Production Manager

I am happy - thrilled actually - to announce that Keran Rees (he's the bald guy on the right) and Greg Williams are officially our Director and Production Manager respectively.

Keran is an amazing director who has been passionate about HAPPY FATHER'S DAY since Greg first told him about our project. And Greg? Well,  we all know that Greg has been one of the main creative forces driving HAPPY FATHER'S DAY since early last year.
