Alberta continues to rape the earth
"Alberta is cancelling blanket environmental protections that have been in place since the 1970s and making it easier to develop open-pit coal mines in some of the province's most ecologically sensitive areas."

Ban the Calgary Stampede
No, the only 'error' was us humans allowing such barbaric sports in the first place. Same goes for bullfighting and circuses with animals.

Our Canadian western BUFFALO BLACQUE clears another hurdle
It's Monday, 6:09 pm and we just received confirmation from the Alberta government of receipt of our feature film grant application for BUFFALO BLACQUE, our $9m Canadian western.
Country western star Milton Patton is set to star and Bollywood legend Helen Fonseca will fill one of the major supporting roles.
Now we wait... and wait... and wait... and hope.

Buffalo Blacque - A Canadian western
Still from last weekend's Buffalo Blacque photo shoot.
Will include the finished 80 second trailer with our application to the Alberta Media Fund for development funding. My professional actor son, James Andrew Russell, was the stand-in for this shoot but for the feature we hope country western star Milton Patton will play the lead in our Canadian western.
Wish us luck.

Which hat do you prefer?
Image capture from the camera test for my feature film video trailer shoot tomorrow with ACTRA apprentice Andrew Russell... which hat do you think looks better for a seasoned, 20ish year old frontier Alberta cowboy?
We will be using the trailer to raise funds for the $11m western.
