Human animals must never keep other animals as pets

It disgusts me that we humans continue to keep cats, dogs, birds, horses, fish and other animals as pets. And just as disgusting are the excuses we use for justifying such immorality...

• they need me
• they can't survive in the wild
• they were breed for living in a house/tank/barn/farm
• they don't have a brain like you and me
• they don't feel pain or talk or think so it doesn't matter what we do to them

Some of the same reasons people used for justifying slavery, the sex trade, and denying women/children/Blacks/Italians/Jews/'castes' the right to live, or vote, or drive a car, or own property.
