Multiple Olympic medal winner Clara Hughes has confessed that she was busted for using performance enhancing drugs - 20 years ago. Is the Olympic Committee now going to revoke her medals and instead award her the Lance Armstrong/Ben Johnson Medal for Cheating? Not a chance.
And will we have to wait 20 years to find out that Usain Bolt, and plenty of his fellow medal winners, are just as guilty of cheating?
The world is never going to have 'clean' athletic events until we remove money from sports - no sponsorships, no prizes, no salaries, no ticket sales, no celebrity speaking fees, no endorsement contracts.... no money to be made... period.
