All professional athletes cheat or benefit from cheaters

"Missed two drug tests"!!! Come on people. I would venture to guess that every one of the Olympic athletes that make it to the winner's podium in the past 50 years used some kind of performance enhancing drug or technique - eg. they cheated. The only professional sport that does not benefit from drugs is darts - and I'm not too sure about that.

Cheaters are everywhere -  in my gym, on TV, in movies, on the sports field. They're the athletes who take steroids, androstenediones, erythropoietin, growth hormones, dope their blood, infuse their bodies with pure oxygen, and a hundred other performance enhancing drugs and techniques. They are bulky, ripped, fast, steady, enduring, strong, and bare no resemblance to pre-1960's athletes who didn't have access to modern chemicals and technology.

The only way to stop this destructive (to the sport and to the athletes themselves) is to remove MONEY from sports. No endorsements, no prize money, no grants, no agent's fees, no scholarships - nothing.

The Solution? Athletes should form a non-profit sports organisation which would then hire the athletes as employees - who would receive a salary, pension, health and dental benefits.

Only then will I have any respect for the Olympics, or baseball, or football or any other professional sport.
