2 dead, 12 injured in last night's shooting

Firstly, let's deal with the guns.

There are only four sources of guns entering Canada (always from the USA):

1. Truckers
2. Bikers
3. Cigarette smugglers (they paddle across one of the many unguarded rivers that divide Canada and America)
4. Theft from so-called 'legitimate' gun owners/hunters

So, when the cops (federal, provincial and local) start doing their jobs the supply of guns will dwindle to nothing.

Secondly, let's deal with the idiots who carry the guns:

That is on us - you and me. Cops can't help us.

Gang members (and 99% of gun violence is gang related - Mafia, bikers, Crips, etc) live in our community, in our building and possibly in the house or condo next door. We need to deal with these idiots one-on-one. 

Through building committees, neighbourhood watches and individual action we need to make it VERY clear to these individuals that they are not only not welcome but that their continued 'bad deeds' will not be good for their 'health.'
