When questioned by a member of the media as to why every member of the Berlin Film Festival jury is white, Ms. Streep proclaimed, "We are all Africans!" and while it is true that all homosapiens are descendants of Lucy... and Lucy lived on the African continent, that maternal event took place about a billion years ago, so Ms. Streep was either trying to deflect an embarrassing question or proving to the world that she lives in LaLa Land.
