And they are do this because their sewage system either gets backed up, or - in this recent incident - simply because they need to repair the system. But wait - it gets better. It seems as if many North American cities - including Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Milwaukee, Winnipeg, Victoria, Windsor, and Toronto - regularly dump billions of litres of sewage into their adjoining lakes, rivers, and oceans.
