There is a heart breaking and disgraceful story in today's Globe and Mail about the disgusting treatment of Ashley Smith and other mentally ill convicts by Corrections Services Canada (it should be called 'Warehouse Canada'). The Globe article was written by Coralee Smith, Ashley's mother.
Please send an email saying, "I want to protest the disgraceful treatment of mentally ill prisoners by Corrections Services Canada. Furthermore, I want a 15 day limit on the use of solitary confinement and the establishment of a independent facility to treat mentally ill prisoners."
