We are celebrating an anniversary today. It was sixty years ago today that William Golding's Lord of the Flies was published. It is standard reading in college and university but if you haven't read it then you should. Lord of the Flies is an amazing novel that eloquently details the moral and ethical poverty of 'intelligent' humans.
