It's over - we've reached a settlement of sorts

The House of Broken Loves
"You can check-out any time you like, But you can't never leave"... Hotel California, The Eagles

Thanks to all of you in the Blogsphere who sent me your emails of support over the past few months. I apologise that I could never (and still can't) tell you straight up what this was all about, or name names but I do very much appreciate your understanding that it was important.

Peace,

James

Making a few assumptions and reading between the lines of your previous posts - especially your May 1 posting (A grandparents #1 job) - I would say that this whole court thing had something to do with protecting your grandkids from something or someone. Am I right? And I also assume that you got your 'concern' documented so that now your ex, her family, her lawyer, and the courts have 'pre-knowledge' of your 'concern'. Hopefully the possibility of them being held liable if anything bad happens will encourage them to be vigilant in protecting your grandkids.

It doesn't sound like this outcome was an elegant solution, and, sorry, but your efforts in getting here seemed clumsy, and drawn out, and I'll bet you lost a few 'friends' along the way, and this 'case' likely cost you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. But hey, protecting the people you love is priceless so 'good on you Dude!

Looking back at your April 24 posting "Two Hearts" I also assume that somewhere during this war with your ex your access to your grandkids was cut off… not to fear… your love for them will remain in their hearts forever.
