On this day in 1944 approximately 425,000 damn fools lost their lives, or were wounded, or went missing carrying out the orders of a bunch of politicians who started WWII, then, when enough people had lost their lives, and enough land had been scorched, enough tears shed, ended WWII with the stroke of a pen.
When will we ever learn?
